The Wurst Gallery Dog Show Art Exhibit

February 2007, Portland

The Wurst Gallery Dog Show Art Exhibit invited artists from all over the world to choose a dog breed and depict it in an artwork. I chose the Borzoi, the Russian wolfhound, a breed that, in the past, could only be owned by Russian royalty. They used these dogs for wolf-hunting.

I sent in two small ink drawings. Part of the proceeds from all the art sold went to their local animal hospital.
